NK Technologies of San Jose, CA, a manufacturer of UL, CE and RoHS certified Current Sensing Products, recently purchased a complete SMT Turnkey Assembly System from Manncorp. Capable of fully-automated, 10,500 cph production, the line is comprised of what are considered the premier selections from Manncorp’s extensive equipment catalog.

According to NK’s Director of Manufacturing, Terry Semon, “the AP430 automatic inline stencil printer, MC-389 high speed high mix pick & place and the CR-5000 5-zone SMT reflow oven are performing admirably.  We are delighted with the in-line automated system. It is everything that Manncorp promised it would be.”

“Once we place the board panel onto the feed conveyor of the stencil printer it is untouched by human hands until it comes out completed at the end of the reflow oven.  The reliability, speed, and performance of the entire SMT line warrants an "A+". You have certainly delivered on your promise,” Semon adds.

In his unsolicited email regarding his experience with Manncorp’s installation and training program, he continues, “I thank all of you for your efforts and your help bringing our new line to fruition.  I especially thank (Manncorp Technician) Gerald (Abdon) for his expertise in setting up our line and his extraordinary training skills and professional manner.  This is our first automated/in-line SMT equipment and we had much to learn.  Gerald did a superb job of guiding us through the entire process. Thank you all.”
