Meet the Manncorp Team
Chris Ellis
Sales & Operations Manager
Chris’s journey in electronics manufacturing began in 1991 as a machine operator, and he quickly grew into a skilled manufacturing engineer. For five years, he immersed himself in every aspect of the industry, from programming SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment to designing comprehensive process documentation for assemblies. His dedication even helped a customer achieve ISO certification by developing work instructions for each manufacturing process from scratch.
Following his engineering accomplishments, Chris discovered his passion for sales. He spent the next five years selling SMT equipment for a refurbishment company, and then expanded into selling various types of capital equipment as an independent sales rep. In 2009, he joined Manncorp, where he’s been a cornerstone of the team for over 15 years.
At Manncorp, Chris wears many hats. He evaluates each customer’s unique process, reviews BOMs (Bill of Materials), and recommends and sells the best equipment solutions for their needs. He’s also hands-on with invoicing and billing. Chris works closely with Jeff and Ed to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service for every customer.
When he’s not at work, Chris is an avid movie buff and tech enthusiast who loves having the latest gadgets. Yet, his true passion remains PCB assembly and helping customers grow their businesses. Many clients can attest to how Chris has helped them reach new heights they never thought possible in assembly.

Ed Stone
Sales Manager
Meet Ed, a San Diego native and one of Manncorp’s longest-tenured team members. Ed joined us in 1996, just days after finishing his final exams at SDSU, and quickly immersed himself in mastering Manncorp’s equipment while serving as an interpreter and assisting with installations south of the border.
When Ed first joined Manncorp, the company was mailing 50,000 color catalogs to industry professionals and relying on phone, fax, and mail for communication. With one of the country’s first 1-800 numbers (still active today) and the launch of Manncorp.com, the company embraced digital transformation. Over nearly 30 years, Ed has seen the industry evolve—from finer-pitch components to highly accurate assembly equipment and instant customer communication.
Ed has traveled to Manncorp’s factories worldwide, gaining extensive knowledge of our equipment and manufacturing processes. He’s especially skilled in rework stations, reflow ovens, and wave soldering systems and is the go-to expert for special requests, including custom equipment and unique delivery needs. Ed truly enjoys speaking with customers and helping them select the right equipment.
Outside of work, he enjoys off-roading in the Southern California mountains, target shooting, flying RC airplanes. Above all, Ed treasures spending time with his school-aged daughter, who is always ready to join him on his next adventure.
