Precision Visual Alignment with HD Optics
Setting a new standard for affordability and performance, the RW1210 is the only SMT rework station in its class to feature true high-definition (HD) vision—rivaling the industry's most advanced systems. With a crystal-clear, superimposed image of component leads and PCB solder pads, even at 230X zoom, precise alignment has never been easier.
This superior visibility is made possible by a 2-million-pixel split-vision CCD camera and high-brightness, independently controlled lighting for both the component and PCB. Whether working with ultra-fine pitch or larger components, technicians can confidently achieve perfect alignment on the system’s sharp 15" HD display.

Effortless High-Precision Placement
Achieving accurate and efficient lead-to-pad alignment is seamless with the RW1210’s ultra-fine micrometer controls. The X- and Y-axis adjustments are made directly at the board holding fixture, while precise θ-axis (rotation) alignment is controlled at the pick-up head.
Once placement is activated, the RW1210’s Z-axis height sensing ensures a controlled, gentle touchdown, preventing misalignment or damage. With an exceptional mounting accuracy of ±0.02 mm, this system is ideal for handling advanced SMDs, including µBGAs and ultra-fine pitch QFPs with lead pitches as small as 0.3 mm (0.012").

Precision-Controlled Heating for Safe, Reliable Rework
The RW1210 SMD rework station features dual hot air heaters—one on top and one on the bottom—providing fully controllable desoldering and resoldering with exceptional stability, preventing even the smallest components from shifting during the process.
For optimal preheating, the bottom hot air heater is complemented by a powerful 2700W "Rapid IR" underheater. This 375 mm x 285 mm (14.76" x 11.22") infrared preheater gradually warms the PCB or LED substrate, minimizing warpage and reducing thermal stress on surrounding components and solder joints.
Designed for both performance and safety, the enclosed glass-shielded infrared heating compartment ensures rapid heat dissipation while preventing debris from entering the elements. This not only enhances operator safety but also reduces maintenance and makes cleaning effortless.

Fast and Flexible Setup for Any Board
The RW1210 rework station features a universal board holding fixture that adjusts effortlessly to accommodate a wide range of PCB sizes, from as small as 6 mm x 6 mm (0.24" x 0.24") to as large as 412 mm x 370 mm (16.2" x 14.5"). For added stability, adjustable support pins and an extra set of rails are included to ensure proper underside support when needed.
Once the board is in place, high-precision edge rails and smooth slide bearings enable seamless movement for precise alignment. A red laser dot helps operators quickly position the component under the top and bottom heaters. With a simple turn of the thumbscrews, the fixture locks securely, ensuring rock-solid stability throughout the rework process.

Intuitive Control for Seamless Operation
The RW1210 rework station is engineered for ease of use, featuring a responsive touchscreen interface and an ergonomically designed instrument panel. A precision joystick allows for effortless camera zoom control. In manual mode, it also provides smooth vertical adjustments for the upper heater and placement head, ensuring accurate component positioning.
For fine-tuned adjustments, dedicated dials control both component and PCB lighting, as well as the upper heater’s airflow—helping to prevent shifting of small chips during reflow. Additionally, the station is equipped with a built-in K-type thermocouple input for real-time temperature monitoring and a USB port for convenient export of solder temperature profiles, allowing for easy data analysis and process optimization.

Versatile Rework Solution for Any Application
From intricate PCB assemblies to straightforward LED rework, the RW1210 rework station is built to handle a wide range of surface mount component tasks with precision and reliability. Designed to meet your current production demands while adapting to future needs, it offers the flexibility and performance required for evolving rework challenges.
